Ace & Gary are an acoustic duo that play stripped-down music with only guitar, bass, and their voices. With experience performing hundreds of songs for friends and family, they've taken the music away from the campfire and put it on stage. The stark acoustic format distills every song to its core elements and gives their voices the opportunity to explore sweet harmonies.
Shows are a mix of many different styles of music, and the guys encourage audience requests. With hundreds of songs written out and countless tunes committed to memory, it becomes quite a challenge for the audience to "stump the band". Even when the boys don't know a particular song, they're almost always able to play a different song by the same artist.
The acoustic format is a great showcase not only for the duo's musical and vocal prowess but also their irreverent humor. Ace & Gary have a good rapport with their audience and the shows are just as funny as they are entertaining. By engaging the audience, deriding poor song choices, and including their favorite TV show themes as filler, the group fosters a light-hearted atmosphere where everyone can have a good time.
