Frank Vito is a gifted singer who has many years of performing experience. As a lead singer, he most often sings songs by the Beatles, John Mellencamp, and Third Day. Frankie also owns a Mobile DJ/Karaoke business called Thumbs Up Productions. Being a DJ plays to his strengths as a music aficionado; he is a virtual encyclopedia of songs and artists from many decades and genres. During the years he has spent as a karaoke host, Frank has honed a vocal style that combines depth with honesty and emotion. As a member of this band, Frank also uses his education in language to bring meaning and symbolism to his lyrics.

Doug Pelt is a classically trained musician and music teacher. Although trombone was his primary instrument, Doug taught himself guitar in high school and learned many songs by ear. He discovered a love of acoustic music over campfire sing-alongs with family and friends and has assembled a diverse catalog of cover songs and originals over the years. His influences range from hard rock to alternative, but it’s his preference for driving tempos and heavy grooves that are most evident in his songwriting. Doug is the primary music writer in Finding Free and adds vocal harmonies to most of the songs the band performs.
